Children are taught age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons that connect them with Christ, teaching them to make wise, Godly choices that line up with scripture.
Faith starts when children are infants as they learn to trust God and the people who take care of them, and their relationship with Christ will continue to develop throughout their life. Caring, experienced volunteers teach the truths of scripture on an age appropriate level. Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. introduces children to God's simple love, and provides a foundation for faith that will carry them through their lives. We count it a blessing to participate in a preschooler's spiritual growth and development.
As children physically grow, they also grow spiritually. Children learn about God and His ways on their level of understanding. In Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., children are taught age appropriate, Bible-based truths that help them know Christ's love, teaching children how to make wise Godly choices that line up with scripture.
Jesus spent the greater part of his ministry meeting the needs of those with specific and special needs. As the body of Christ at Northside, we are called to do the same. We welcome children with special needs to the "Young Explorers" class, which offers a safe and loving environment staffed by compassionate and well-trained volunteers. Children will discover who God is on their journey, and how much they are loved. Sunday School is at 9:15 a.m., with extended care during worship at 10:45 a.m.
